“There’s no richer place than a graveyard, as there lies all the hopes, dreams, and goals, that were never fulfilled, all because someone was too afraid to take that first step, not determined to carry out their dream.”

Wake up early, have the morning coffee, sit through traffic to office, do the same work you did yesterday to make your boss happy, waste another hour getting back home, have dinner with TV, scroll social media to see others living the life you want, set alarm for tomorrow, go to sleep.

Does this sound familiar?

Spending 8 hours everyday, building someone else’s dream, while numbing yourself with cheap pleasures so that you don’t feel the pain of not being who you want to be, until it’s too late.

We’re conditioned by the society to go with the flow, do everything what others do, and follow a path which others tell is the best for you.

In the end, we’re left with one thought, what did I do with my life?

Just think about what you remember so far in your life.

Are those the things you did the way others wanted?

Or things you did the way you wanted, no matter how it ended?

Everything around you which is called life, is made from people no smarter than you.

If you understand that the best way to be happy in the end is to live a life which you constructed the way you want, then I believe you have the power to achieve it.

You can build your own thing, live your life to the fullest.

Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied in the end is to do what you believe is great work." - Steve Jobs

But this comes at a cost - the cost changing your habits, and lot of effort.

Yes it will be risky.

Yes you will be going against the herd.

You will be ridiculed, because all around you is an environment that tries to keep you comfortable in being like them.

But it will all be worth it.

No great person achieved their greatness by subjecting to mediocrity. Mediocrity wasn’t an option for them, and it is not for you.

As Steve Jobs once said — “you can’t connect the dots looking forward, you can only connect them looking backwards. You have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in the future, and that belief will give you confidence to follow your heart, even when things get rough and lead you off the usual path.”

True, working towards something doesn’t always guarantee success in the way you hope - but from what I have seen, there is nothing to regret in trying to get something - because either you get there, or you learn something which will help you get there.

The more I understood these, more I wanted to get to the destination I wanted all my life.

Everything I had going so far towards a goal I didn’t want, I put aside.

I’ve only been good at few things, like seeing things in a different and easier way and teaching those to someone else. In my opinion, helping yourself and others at the same time is the way to get the best outcome in your life.

So I changed my direction towards that. I’ve come some distance in achieving the greater myself, but most importantly, I’ll be learning more, and put out what I learn, so that anybody who follows the same footsteps can do it easier, and maybe better.

What you will see unfolding through my work, is my journey towards the greater, and everything I learn along the way.

I sincerely hope that this will be of something helpful to you.

If you have any issues, feel free to reach out. I’m no psychologist or therapist or a licensed professional, but someone who may have been where you are and able to offer some help.

Just remember, it’s the possibility of a dream come true that makes a life interesting.

Stay vigilant for the next one,

Until that,

See ya.
